13 Years Today!

So today is our 13th anniversary, and as was the case when we got married, we are again students (at least Nile is)! I could say a lot of nice, mushy things about Nile...but he would make me delete them anyway (he truly would and has done so before), so I will keep it short and simple:) I have so much respect for the decision Nile made (granted, I agreed to it but it was his feeling/vision that God was calling him) to come to seminary, even though it seemed crazy and impossible at the time. There were, and still are, so many uncertainties...but one thing is certain, and that is that God has called us to be here, at this time and at this place. I am very proud of Nile for listening to the voice of God when it meant a lot of hard work for him, less security and "comfort of living", and a slightly more emotional wife on his hands as she copes with missing friends and family:) I won't say that I think he is more handsome than ever or that he loves his children more than anything, because those types of things would be deleted. :) Oh, and I won't mention how I so appreciate his humility and always have, either. By the way, this picture was taken before I learned about a wonderful little thing called plucking your eyebrows, so a little grace, please. Happy Anniversary and I love you!

wait a minute - how is it that you guys look exactly the same, and haven't aged a bit and in my wedding pictures we look like babies?! the disclaimer on the eyebrows was totally not necessary, not anything i would have ever noticed, but WAS funny.

Happy Anniversary, guys! I have LOVED catching up on your life via your blog today, Codi! You are beautiful and I miss you, friend!

I am so excited for you there in St Louis. Reading your posts makes me long for our seminary days. I miss the playground time so much! I am thrilled that you chose to live on campus. Living life with other seminary families was vital for us. We made life-long, life-changing friendships in a small group we had with a few other famlies. Incredible! Praying the Lord will surround with you dear friends for you to love and who will love, love, love you!

Rejoicing with you about the St Louis Bread Company! Woo Hoo! Sweet blessings like that are such reminders of how the Lord is so tangibly providing for you in your obedience to His calling for your family.

Would love to catch up more. You mention specific prayers for your Seth and I am curious to know what that is about. It has been a long time and I am out of touch with your life.

Know that you guys are loved and we are cheering you on. It would be fun to connect again.
Please drop me an email with your phone number and I will call you. theweaverfam@hotmail.com

All is grace.
