The Science Museum

These bad boys moved, made noises, even blinked their eyes. The kids loved this...the poor wounded one on the ground was even still breathing, albeit very slowly. The Science Museum was big, with a lot to do, but I only took a few pics. It was also free, so I loved it even more.

It was horribly dark in this area & I'm not good at camera settings:(

We learned about earthquakes while at the museum, and this
was just days before Haiti. They were able to stand on this and feel
different levels of earthquakes and watch a short video that explained
what happened during one...I was so thankful to have a point of
reference for them as we talked through what had happened in Haiti.
It was very real to them and has been on their hearts a lot.

The boys reminded me of little hamsters running around
in circles in this thing. Their movement caused balls to load into
this huge system, shown below...it spanned a much bigger area
than this pic is able to show.

How fun! Looks like you guys have found some really sweet things to do down there in St. Louis! Kind of makes me want to go to that museum too!!
