The Magic House

I'm so behind...I already put these pictures on Facebook a while back, so just ignore if you've already seen them! I realized, though, that I want the kids to be able to look back through this blog and see what life was like when they were kids-actually, they love to look at older posts even now and remember the fun things we did:) Plus, some of you don't do Facebook. So, here is the Magic House, which is our childrens' museum, with my favorites from two different visits crammed into one post. This isn't even half of the activities it offers, but I got tired of uploading and you would've been bored to tears:)

The Jack and the Beanstalk climbing structure spans three floors, and the kids love it.

The next few pictures are all of the Curious George room

The bubble piano, which makes bubbles as you play notes.

The static electricity ball (the boys were too sweaty on this day,
so it didn't work as well as usual)

The Lewis and Clark Expedition rooms-the boys even got to do
a hidden trail adventure (Jos was bummed b/c she was too little)

Gabe is watching his magnetic fish travel under the clear sidewalk
and end up back where Seth and Josie are catching more fish.

Gabe doing the evening news while the other two watch

Living room of the Victorian House

Playing in the kitchen of the Victorian house

They loved putting these little squishy balls into the air-powered tubes
and watching where the balls shot out-you could change routes by
flipping different levers.

Gabe inside his body-sized bubble

Seth working on his police sketch to finalize his suspect in the
detective room

WOW!!!!! That place looks like so much fun and puts our museum to shame!!! Do you get a year membership there too? How fun!

Yes, we used some Christmas money to buy a pass-I think it is maybe 40 dollars more than we paid in Iowa , but it is pretty fun. Maybe you guys should come visit this summer and try it out:)
